The Differnece of "Natural" and Our Natural Baby

There is a difference between natural commercial baby products and Our Natural Baby's all-natural and organic baby products. Amazingly, the term "natural" is not regulated by the FDA. This means that any company can call any product "natural," regardless of how many natural ingredients the product actually contains. Products containing only one of two naturally derived ingredients qualify to be labeled "natural." Would you consider a product made with harsh chemicals natural? No, and neither do we. So often we read the pretty labels on the front of a product and "natural" catches our eye. But, when you turn the product over and read the long list of ingredients on the back label that you can't even pronounce, you shocked and astonished as to what is actually in that "natural" product.

and you will be in for a wonderful surprise! In front of you is listed a range of natural ingredients, including exotic moisturizing butters and skin-nourishing oils. We utilize certified organic products whenever possible. Our essential oils are 100% Pure Therapeutic Quality. ONB promises full ingredient discolsure. If we don't list it, it's not there. The only synthetic ingredient we use in any of our products is a mild preservative, Liquid Germall® Plus or Optiphen™ ND. These preservatives are only used in water based products, and we are committed to clearly indicating this preservative's use. Products containing water require a preservative because the water content can lead to contamination. Currently, we are re-formulation our Baby Bum Foam and Cloth Diaper Rinse for preservative inclusion. We are continually working to expand our product line to include other baby care products. As always, should the need arise to utilize a preservative, we promise to fully-inform you.

THINK YOUR PRODUCTS ARE UNSCENTED and SAFE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?

Once again, commercial manufacturers of sensitive skin "fragrance free" products are misleading you. Some unscented products actually have a masking scent added to them to cover up or eliminate any natural aroma that the product may actually possess. The final product you smell will actually not have any scent, but can still contain fragrance. The ingredients label tells the truth. Be assured, when one of our products is labeled "unscented" it has absolutely no additional essential fragrance oil added to it. It may have the natural smell of the actual ingredients used, but it will never have an added fragrance.

It is necessary explain the difference between our fragrances, and fragrances used in commercial baby products. There are two different ways to fragrance products. Essential Oils are derived from natural plants, thus making them 100% natural as well. The other type of fragrances are synthetic fragrance oils. Because these are synthetic, meaning that the fragrance itself is not a natural ingredient. Our Natural Baby utilizes ONLY essential oils are 100% Pure Therapeutic Quality. We will not utilize synthetic fragrance oil blends in our products.
